I started renovating and decorating on Chicago's North Shore during the early 1970's. The homes were magnificent, and as the scope of work grew, a creative way to earn money while in school. I attended the Art Institute and Harrington Institute of Interior Design but ambition and drive put me on the road to Wall Street in 1984. 
   
By 1995 my consulting business included several architecture and design firms.  It became clear in 2002 that interior design and renovation was my calling and Design & Color was formed. A circuitous beginning? Yes, and a unique combination of creative and problem solving skills upon which to build.
